Safeguarding

The safety and wellbeing of all children in our care is our highest priority.

We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Our setting follows all current safeguarding guidance and statutory requirements, including the principles set out in Keeping Children Safe in Education and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

We have clear safeguarding policies and procedures in place to ensure that:

  • All children are cared for in a safe, secure, and supportive environment
  • Any concerns about a child’s welfare are identified and responded to appropriately
  • We work in partnership with parents, carers, and relevant professionals to support children’s needs

A Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is present on site at all times and is responsible for overseeing safeguarding practice within the setting, ensuring that all procedures are followed consistently and effectively.

All staff receive appropriate safeguarding training and are expected to uphold the highest standards of care, professionalism, and vigilance at all times.

We maintain accurate records and follow established reporting procedures where concerns arise, working in line with local safeguarding partnerships and statutory guidance.

We are committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, protected, and supported to thrive.

If you have any questions about our safeguarding practices, please do not hesitate to contact us.
